Hilary Zetarski
Co-Director, Co-Owner
Since 2006 Hilary and Kerri have been co-directors and co-owners of Harmony Hill Preschool. She holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. Hilary is a Texas Certified Teacher with a certificate in Composite Science. She is also a Licensed Child Care Director with the State of Texas.
"It was always my vision to create a learning environment where the students were hands on and an integral part in their understanding of the world around them. I believe children need to be presented with many types of stimulating interests from music, cooking, science and imaginative play. They need to feel secure, comfortable and happy to explore many opportunities".
"Parents also need to feel that their child is being cared for and learning in a safe and loving environment. This is what I create in my classroom and at our school. We are glad to have each and every one of your children here with us. We hope we will make a difference in the start of their early educational lives and make an impression on who they become".
Hilary is married to Stephen. They have 3 beautiful daughters: Claire, Sophie, and Emilia.
Kerri Childs
Co-Director, Co-Owner
Kerri and Hilary founded Harmony Hill Preschool in 2006. Kerri is a graduate of Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. She has taught and cared for infants and preschoolers in a licensed day care setting as both a Lead teacher and Sunday school teacher for years before starting Harmony Hill Preschool. She is a licensed Child Care Director with the State of Texas and Kerri continues to further her education in both business and child development.
She enjoys meeting and getting to know the children and parents of Harmony Hill. Her goal is to provide a safe, healthy and fun environment in which every child is able to reach new accomplishments. She wants each child to be able to learn new things, build healthy relationships and be proud of who they are.
Kerri is married to Christian. They have two beautiful daughters, Emma and Sara. Both Emma and Sara are Harmony Hill Preschool graduates.
Deslyn Hamon (Pre-K)
Deslyn Hamon is a Texas Certified Elementary and Special Education teacher. She has taught grades Pre-K through 12th grade since 1998.
Ms. Deslyn’s goal is to provide a fun, safe and loving learning environment for everyone. Structured play is at the core of the daily routine. Ms. Deslyn sprinkles in activities designed to encourage your child’s creativity and the development of language and math skills, friendships, and independence. Pre-K children are her passion because they are full of joy and wonder.
She has been married to her husband Brian since 1998. They have two boys, Ben and Seth, who keep her busy.
Sherry Nelson (Pre-K)
Sherry Nelson has taught grades Pre-K through 5th grade since 1997. She is a Texas Certified Teacher in All-Level Music with a Bachelor’s degree from Southwest Texas State University. Previously she taught K – 5th grade music at Austin ISD's Menchaca Elementary School and Round Rock ISD's Double File Trail Elementary and Voight Elementary Schools.
Ms. Sherry believes every classroom is made up of unique children who vary not only in abilities, but also in learning styles. The role of a teacher is to reach the child at their level and to give them the tools they need to succeed. To achieve this goal, she incorporates themes, integrated units, projects, group work, individual work, and hands-on learning to engage children as active learners.
Sherry was born and raised in Fredericksburg, TX. She married Keith in 2003. Their daughter Shelby is a Harmony Hill graduate. They have lived in Round Rock since 2003 and are happy to call it home.
Karen James (Older 3's)
Karen James grew up in Lubbock, Texas and attended South Plains College. Ms. Karen is currenty working towards her Child Development Associates Degree. She has been working with 3 and 4 year old children since 1982.
Ms. Karen believes each child is special and unique whose impressionable minds are able to absorb so much knowledge! She is very excited to be given the opportunity to work with and love your children. Ms. Karen creates a fun, stimulating classroom environment, while being structured and nurturing. She feels God has given her the talent to work with your children.
Her children are all grown-up now and have blessed her with two grandchildren, one of which is a Harmony Hill student.

Cori Prout (Older 2's)
Cori was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and have been happy to call Round Rock home since 2008. She has been married to Dave since 2001. They have 4 wonderful kids: Sydney, Tyler, and Audrey, are Harmony Hill graduates; Reilly is a current Harmony Hill student.
She has always had a great love of children and started her childcare career as a baby sitter at an early age and continued looking after children until her oldest was born. She started with HarmonyHill as a subsitute before becoming the teacher of the Older 2's class.
Esmeralda Alderete (Younger 2's)
Ms. Esmeralda has been teaching since 2003, joining the Harmony Hill team in 2013. She has her Child Development Associated certificate from Austin Community College. Teaching is her passion. She has a deep desire to nurture and inspire children from the moment they enter her classroom. She appreciates each child's uniqueness and works to nurture those differences. She is determined to build a strong foundation of essentials that will allow them to be their best.
Ms. Esmeralda is married to Sergio. Then have two wondeerful children, Derrin and Jade.
Paula Kingham (18 - 24 months)
Paula Kingham has taught preschool since 1997 and has been at Harmony Hill since 2007. One thing she loves most about teaching the youngest class is that she sees the kids as they grow up and move into the older classes. It's always fun to get a hello from former students when she seems them during school. She keeps her classroom on schedule because she thinks it’s important for the children, but she's not afraid to be flexible when needed.
With such a young class, most of the kids have never been to preschool or around groups of their peers. She helps them learn things like sharing, using inside voices, and respect for others. During lunch time she models and encourages good table manners. Most of all, Ms. Paula wants to create a warm loving environment for the children where they are comfortable and excited.
Ms. Paula has been married to James since 1993. They have 4 children: Kelley, Jordan, and twins, Ashleigh and Austin. Outside of preschool, she teaches cake decorating and also enjoys sewing.
Kim Silva (Substitute)
Kim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology for the University of Texas at San Antonio. She substitutes at Harmony Hill Preschool and Gattis Elementary School. When she's not caring for children, she enjoys party planning, shopping, and Zumba.
She has been married to Miguel since 2000. They enjoy their two children, Michelle and Miguel, Jr., who is a Harmony Hill Preschool graduate.
Judy Taveira (Substitute)
Judy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Finance from Indiana University. She moved to Round Rock 5 years ago with her husband and two daughters. She currently works as a 3 year old Aide at another local preschool.
She spends her free time volunteering in both her daughters’ classrooms and really enjoys working with children of all ages. She is currently taking classes in child development to continue her desire and experience in teaching.
She was a substitute teacher at Harmony Hill Preschool last year and really enjoyed the staff and children there and is looking forward to another great year!
Charlei Villagomez (Substitute)
Ms. Char has a degree in Psychology from Southern Oregon University and has over 15 years of experience working with children. Ms. Char was a Before and After School Program Director for the U.S. Navy and a Coordinator for the City of Rancho Cucamonga's Playschool Program in California. In 2006 she moved to Texas. She has been a part of Harmony Hill Preschool since we opened in Spring 2007.
She married her high school sweetheart Leonard in 1999. They are the proud parents of Kamerin and Zachary. Both of her kiddos are graduates of Harmony Hill Preschool.
